What can you do to help?
- Fill in missing information from the Master list of Pages Missing Vital Information. This is our #1 priority. Remove the Missing Vital Information template when you are done.
- Fill out pages in the Master List of Stub Pages. This is our second highest priority. Pages in this list that are not in the list above mostly just need things like group history. (Pages created before the Missing Vital Information template was created might actually belong in the first list. Please consider adding the Missing Vital Information template to such pages.) Remove the stub template when it is not needed anymore.
- Right now, there are very few pages. Just start creating pages in the same format that Dana Key, Part of the Mystery
, and Mary♫ are. Simply edit the pages, copy the code and make your own page from that. We need artists, songs and albums to start out with. It will grow from there after time. This is our third highest priority.
- We are doing the Artist/Album/Song page name format because there are TONS of songs with the same title as another. Things like "Mmhmm" and "Mmhmm (song)" seemed acceptable, but for some it would go to a ridiculous point (i.e "Beautiful (song)(Audio Adrenaline)(single)"). This way is easier, and also helps with alphabetizing some category pages, so please keep to that format.
- You can help with redirect pages. This way, By Divine Design goes to Dana Key/Part of the Mystery/By Divine Design. If a two things have the same title, put it in a disambiguation page, as seen here.
- Bring detail to pages. Right now, Be My Escape♫'s page only has a one line description. Expand on that, use sub-categories, explain the meaning of the song, how they made it, etc.
Everyone should read the list of tools to help you build pages and the naming conventions before you start.
