Newsboys is a Christian pop/rock band that formed in Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia, in 1985. They have released 20 studio albums, five of which have been certified gold. It currently consists of Jeff Frankenstein, Duncan Phillips, Jody Davis, and Michael Tait. The band also tours as "Newsboys United" with former full-time members Peter Furler and Phil Joel.
