Jon Egan is the lead vocalist for American worship group Desperation Band. He released his debut solo album, Unveil, in 2019.[1]
Career[]
Egan helped form Desperation Band, a youth worship band based at New Life Church in the USA, in 2001.[2] Between 2001 and 2014, the band released nine albums, their final album being Banner in September 2014.[3]
In March 2019, Egan released his debut solo material, Unveil.[1] The album was recorded at New Life Church.[4]
Faith[]
In a 2013 interview, Egan spoke about the importance of worship: 'It’s our nature to focus on ourselves. Even when we try not to, we end up making it all about us. Worship is our corrective … when we make Him the focus, the center of it all, everything realigns'.[5]
