This is where we all live as Believers — somewhere between the Altar and the Door. At the Altar, everything makes sense. We know how to live and what direction to take. Everything is black and white. But somewhere between the Altar and the Door, everthing leaks out and we go nuts! God is calling us to take what He gives us…

Message From Mark HallSoloist to Youth Leaders Edit

Hey Youth Worker(s),
Mark HallSoloist here from Casting CrownsGroup

I don't know about you, but when I started out in youth ministry, I felt overwhelmed. Every week became a series of hits and misses … mostly misses. I desperately wanted to impact the world, but was not sure I had enough resources just to make it to the next week! While conferences, consultants, and sermon subscription services looked great (and flashy!), they were just out of my reach.

One day, I found a connection that works! Our student ministry partnered with Roger Glidewell and Global Youth Ministry to extend the reach of our local ministry around the world … without breaking the budget! Global doesn't just get how to help my students individually, but they really help my youth group as a whole by painting a picture of the type of youth group God chooses to use.

For years now our ministry has participated in numerous Global Youth Camps, attended by their conferences, and even taken many of High School students on overseas mission trips … all while developing the leader inside of them. These are big breaks that a small youth group would miss without the help of Global!

Now that I have 15+ years of student ministry experience under my belt and more resources at my disposal, I wanted to invest in youth ministers just getting started through Jumpstart Resources found on Global's website. This is where you can go for sermon notes, sermon slides, video clips, advice videos about the everyday challenges in student ministry, weekend retreat, ministry team ideas, theme night resources, and more! These are all designed to help you pour Jesus into you students.

Be sure to visit www.globalyouthministry.org/jumpstart to download these free resources. While there, take a peek at the many other ways Global can partner with you as you reach your community and impact the world!

Love them like Jesus, Mark HallSoloist
